According to the Victoria Police Department, officers responded to an unknown-type call in the 300 block of McCright Drive in Riverside Park, as confirmed by David Brogger of the Victoria Police Department. Upon arriving at the scene, officers made a heartbreaking discovery—a vehicle submerged in the Guadalupe River, located across from the golf course.

Inside the submerged car, authorities found the body of Tabetha Lynn Neely, age 25, a resident of Victoria. Family members at the scene shared that Tabetha was married and the devoted mother of a young son, a role she cherished deeply.
